Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

15th February 2020
12-5pm
Clarion Hotel Oslo

It is well-known that there is substantial gender bias in Wikipedia’s content. Also, according to Wikipedia, “it is unquestionable that a substantial gender gap exists on Wikipedia in terms of editors and editing practice“.

Join us at Clarion Hotel Oslo, on 15 February 2020 from 12pm to 5pm, for an all day communal updating of Wikipedia entries on subjects related to gender, art and feminism. We will provide tutorials for the beginner Wikipedian, reference materials, and refreshments. Bring your laptop, power cord and ideas for entries that need updating or creation. We invite people of all gender identities and expressions to participate.

No experience needed. All you need is a laptop.
Free, but please register in advance here.
