Deadline: Thursday 2nd of May
Are you between the ages of 15 and 26 and have something you want to express? Then we invite you to apply for this year’s Summer Exhibition at Kunsthall Oslo. You don’t need any previous artistic experience—what matters most is a desire to communicate something through art or creative expression.
To mark the five-year anniversary of the Oslo Art and Knowledge Workshop, we’re making a shift in this year’s curatorial process. Instead of the usual youth jury, we have invited Hamda Barise and Mohamed Bashir to curate the exhibition. Both have played a vital role in cultivating a space for young artists in Oslo, helping to establish a platform where emerging voices are both seen and heard.
Through this open call, we are primarily looking for works produced within the past two years. Each participant may submit up to three works. If applying as a group, one person must be listed as the main contact and representative for the project.
The exhibition opens on Friday, June 20.
