Friday 7th Februrary 2025Very limited places – booking required This event is now fully booked
Kunsthall Oslo is pleased to present a conversation and interactive happening looking at how club culture can function to express identity, belonging and resistance, create solidarity and challenge norms.
The conversation will take place in Ali Gallefoss’s exhibition – a project that explores how living space is bound up with identity – and the event aims to create a salon situation in the gallery. In this informal setting, an invited group of DJs and producers from Oslo and Paris will share their thoughts and experiences as well as their music. The TikTok-viral title comes from a 2016 clip from Broad City – “Do you know them?” “No, but in da clurb, we all fam” – but the wider inspiration is the Nardal sisters’ Salon de Clamart in 1930s Paris.
This event is part of a programme bringing together future visions and diaspora experiences in art, literature and music – a collaboration between MUNCH, Kunsthall Oslo and Blå.
Tickets for the events at MUNCH are will give free admittance to Blå, Friday 7th February before midnight (Over 20s only).
