Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present Helene Duckert’s first solo exhibition in Oslo. Duckert works with discarded and scavenged objects, improvising metaphors for contemporary life out of the debris she finds in its ruins. For this project, part of a new mini-series of Studio Reports, Duckert is transporting the entire contents of her studio to the Kunsthall Oslo gallery space and making a new installation in situ.
Helene Duckert (b. 1988) is a multidisciplinary artist, writer and art mediator, educated at OsloMet (BA 2012) and Oslo National Academy of the Arts (BFA 2016, MFA 2018). She previously took part in our group show In The Eyes Of The Child (2021), curated by the Kunsthall Oslo youth board. Duckert lives and works in Oslo.
