Infopsin

Kunsthall Oslo is closed to the public due to the pandemic but we are currently hosting a production residency with the Oslo-based artists’ group Infopsin. The group and their collaborators are working on a piece titled As We Worry We Dance, an opera that is being performed and filmed in the parking area located below Barcode Oslo. This work will form the basis of both a future digital production and an expanded live performance in Vilnius in the coming year. AWWWD stems from an ongoing process and is the first major production by the collective.

“Infopsin was formed in 2019 and works with platforms both digital and fleshy, looking at how patterns of meaning in language, infrastructure and other built environments mark the body. The collective began with the idea of the collective as the basic unit of production.”

For AWWWD Infopsin has collaborated with Synne Garvik, Magdalene Solli, Rina Rosenqvist, Silje Aker Johnsen and Margaret Abeshu to develop choreography, an imaginary and a voice, to untangle the loops and the rituals of mourning the future.

Infopsin was established in 2019 and consists of Lesia Vasylchenko, Ayatgali Tuleubek, Ignas Krunglevičius, Ragnhild Aamås and Istvan Virag.
