Bliss er en multidisiplinær kunstner basert i Oslo. Den fargesterke paletten og oppbyggningen med penselstrøk trekker paralleller mellom det skulpturelle og tradisjonelle maleri.⁠ ⁠ Thomas forteller og demonstrerer maleri prosessen, vi utforsker så denne målemetoden sammen på et større lerret.         🌞 PROGRAM FOR SOMMERSKOLE! ⁠ 👖 Bricolage F 🌞 PROGRAM FOR SOMMERSKOLE! ⁠ 👖 Bricolage Fashion Design med Margaret Abeshu. ⁠ 📅 Mandag til onsdag fra 11-16 på prosjektskolen⁠ ⁠ Velkommen til Bricolage Fashion Design Workshop, et kreativt rom hvor vi utforsker redesign ved å kombinere eksisterende plagg og tekstiler med andre materialer. Bricolage, et begrep hentet fra fransk, betyr bokstavelig talt å "fikse det man har". I en bredere kreativ sammenheng brukes bricolage til å beskrive prosessen med å skape nye verk ved å kombinere en rekke forskjellige objekter eller ideer. Dette konseptet strekker seg over flere kulturer og er viktig innen alt fra det dagliglivets små gjøremål til den store verden innen kunst, musikk og matlaging, hvor det har ført til banebrytende oppfinnelser. For denne workshopen, vil denne metoden hjelpe oss bruke tilgjengelige ressurser, oppmuntre oss til eksperimentell og lek tilnærming med materialer, hvor feil og uhell ikke bare er tillatt, men ansett som en viktig del av den kreative prosessen. Det er her, i disse 'feilene', at uventet innovasjon og kreativitet ofte oppstår, og gir liv til nye ideer og design som bryter med tradisjonell forståelse og utfordrer vår estetikk. ⁠ ⁠ Har du klær som ikke passer, som du vurderer å kaste, eller som er blitt for lite brukt? Eller kanskje venner og familie har noe å bidra med? I vår konsumdrevne kultur er vi omringet av materialer som venter på å bli gjenoppdaget og transformert. ⁠ ⁠ Forberedelser til workshopen: Ta med et bredt spekter av klær, tilbehør og tekstiler du kan finne. Dette inkluderer alt fra belter og skjerf til hatter – alt er nyttig. Vi oppfordrer også til å bringe med tekstiler som duker og heklede materialer. Det er også nyttig å inkludere materialer som spenner fra myke tekstiler til hardere materialer.         Sommerskole på Prosjektskolen – Link in bio! 🖌 Sommerskole på Prosjektskolen - Link in bio! 🖌️ 24.–28. juni 11.00–16.00 Borggata 7 og Rostockgata 2 Gratis Kunsthall Oslo og @prosjektskolen har gleden av å presentere årets Sommerskole for ungdom mellom 15-26! Delta på gratis verksteder med profesjonelle kunstnere i Prosjektskolens fantastiske lokaler i Borggata 7 på Tøyen og i Kunsthall oslos lokaler i bjørvika. Gjennom verksteder i maleri, , tekstil, silketrykk og riso blir sommerskolen en møteplass for profesjonelle kunstnere og unge som har lyst til å uttrykke seg kreativt. Program for uken (NB! verkstedene overlapper): 24-25 juni på prosjektskolen: Silketrykk med @silketrykkets_venner 24-26 juni på prosjektskolen: Fashion Bricollage Design med designer og visuell kunstner @margaret____abeshu 26-27 juni på prosjektskolen: Maling med multidisiplinær kunstner @bliss4art 27-28 juni på Kunsthall Oslo: Risotrykk med designer og kunstnere @neslihanramzi og @dinasaaurrr Påmelding via lenkene på hjemmesiden. Er påmeldingen stengt kan du skrive deg på venteliste. Alle som vokser opp i dag omgitt av bilder, og i sosiale medier er alle skapere. Likevel opplever ikke ungdom at kunsten i gallerier og museer er for dem. For å utvikle seg er kunstbransjen helt avhengig av mer mangfoldig rekruttering. Dette er bakgrunnen for at Kunsthall Oslo satser på langsiktig arbeid med ungdom i nærområdet, gjennom prosjektet Oslo Kunst- og Kunnskapsverksted. Mens det finnes gode lavterskel tilbud for ungdom innen musikk, dans og teater ser vi et behov for tilbud der unge kan skape og utforske billedkunst på egne premisser. Utstillingen og verkstedene er en del av Oslo Kunst- og Kunnskapsverksted er et samarbeid med Agenda X @agenda_x med støtte fra Kulturrådet @kulturradet, Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, Bergesenstiftelsen og Fritt Ord.

        📅 This weekend at cinemateket! ⁠ BAHAR NOORIZ 📅 This weekend at cinemateket! ⁠ BAHAR NOORIZADEH - June 1st, 16.00 at cinemateket⁠ ⁠ BAHAR NOORIZADEH looks at the relationship between art and capitalism. In her practice as an artist, writer and filmmaker, she examines the conflictual and contradictory notions of imagination and speculation as they suffuse one another. Her research investigates the histories of economics, cybernetic socialism, and activist strategies against the financialization of life and the living space, asking what redistributive historical justice looks like for the present. Noorizadeh is the founder of Weird Economies, a co-authored and socially-connected project that traces economic imaginaries extraordinary to financial arrangements of our time.         Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present our upco Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present our upcoming exhibition Chronosphere, Lesia Vasylchenko’s first solo exhibition in Oslo. Please join us for the opening on Friday 26th April 6-9pm! "Chronosphere is a parafictional story about the weaponization of time, from the picosecond synchronization of Earth observation satellites to the deep time of ecological trauma. The central work in the exhibition is a new-commissioned video that seeks to visualize our position in the chronosphere, the ever-changing cloud of past events and future probabilities that swirls around us at every passing moment. Vasylchenko’s own location filming is combined with CGI, found footage and AI-generated video to compose the testimony of a witness before an imagined future court of time. The past, the present and the future, in different but interconnected ways, become both the site and subject of conflict and resistance." As part of the Chronosphere project Vasylchenko has programmed a series of public events featuring artists and critics whose practice touches on related questions, with presentations from Bahar Noorizadeh, Riar Rizaldi, Aleksei Borisionok, Sara Eliassen, Nikhil Vettukattil and Jassem Hindi. Dette behovet oppstår på grunn av den begrensede mengden kunstkritikk som er skrevet, samt at den eksisterende kritikken ofte er preget av referanser som er forbeholdt svært beleste individer, noe som kan gjøre kritikken vanskelig tilgjengelig for andre. Shof er en plattform som oppmuntrer unge mennesker i alderen 15 til 26 år til å skrive om kunst og kultur. Her har du friheten til å bruke humor, sarkasme og andre kreative virkemidler for å formidle budskapet ditt. Du kan skrive på norsk eller engelsk og inkorporere ord og uttrykk fra andre språk.         OPEN CALL – Sommerutstillingen 2024 Søknadsfrist OPEN CALL - Sommerutstillingen 2024 Søknadsfrist: 1. mai kl. 12 Om du er mellom 15-26 og har noe kult du vil prøve å vise, inviteres du til å søke på årets sommerutstilling på Kunsthall Oslo. Du trenger ikke kunstnerisk erfaring, bare et behov om å vise frem noe. Utstillingen åpnes fredag 21. juni og verkene blir valgt av en jury som har ansvar for kurateringen. Juryen består av fem personer mellom 18–26 med tilknytning til kunstfeltet. Utstillingen skal fortrinnsvis vise nye verk, det vil si at de er produsert i løpet av de siste to årene. Hver søker kan søke med opptil tre verk; grupper kan søke via en representant.         Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present «Workin Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present «Working On It», an exhibition curated by Mohamed Bashir (@baashir_ ) as final part of the new mini-series of Studio Reports. Opening Friday, April 5th, 7-9 pm. «Working on it» is a collaboration between the curator and a diverse group of people - each artist contributes an idea that is part of an ongoing exploration, resulting in a group exhibition created collaboratively by all involved. Through this approach, the project becomes a living example of how ideas can evolve and flourish through teamwork and creativity, highlighting the importance of sharing unfinished thoughts and processes to collectively create something meaningful. Studio Reports is a series of very fast solo presentations, one per week for six weeks, of artwork that’s being made now, in and around Oslo. It might be work in progress, a snapshot of studio practice, a new publication or performance, a page from a notebook or a mini-retrospective.

Duckert works with discarded and scavenged objects, improvising metaphors for contemporary life out of the debris she finds in its ruins. For this project, part of a new mini-series of Studio Reports, Duckert is transporting the entire contents of her studio to the Kunsthall Oslo gallery space and making a new installation in situ. The solo exhibition is open from Saturday 23th – Saturday 30th March ✨
