For this informal series of “book talks”, friends of Assata will talk about books that mean something special to them. Please join us on Saturday to meet Saida, a nurse and student midwife who will talk about Aimé Cesaire’s classic work «Discourse on Colonialism» and Haweya, a writer and technologist, who will present the book Of Black Study by Joshua Myers, which deals with knowledge production.
