In July 2011, Kunsthall Oslo was occupied by The Parallel Action summer school; in July 2012 it was used for the production of a film. This year we will offer the gallery to a young artist or group of artists to use as a studio/production space during July, with the possibility of a public presentation of work during the first week of August. If you would like to be considered for this residency, please send an email to sommer@kunsthalloslo.no, including a short cv and either documentation of past work in pdf format (max 10MB) or a link to online documentation. Deadline April 28th.
Please note that
1. The residency consists of the space and the facilities/equipment at Kunsthall Oslo; no money, no accommodation.
2. The residency is only open to people based in Norway, born in the 1980s, and not in full-time education.
3. Selection will be made on the basis of past art work only; please do not send a proposal.
